Institution

Physicist & Adjunct Professor at Thomas Jefferson University

Introduction

My research background is in applied physics, specifically in the areas of Strength of Materials, NMR in low field, polymeric capsules, and cementitious materials. I served as Project Manager (PI-equivalent) on a three-institution industrial research collaboration with Brose Fahrzeugteile GmbH (2016–2020), was PI on two nationally-funded research projects in Romania, and am currently Co-PI on the MoU between Thomas Jefferson University and the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca - a partnership that won a KA171 Erasmus mobility grant.

Top Fields

Physics & Astronomy, Engineering, Earth & Environmental Science

Research Areas

This mentor can support projects in applied physics, strength of materials, nuclear magnetic resonance in cementitious materials, and photoelasticity. Their interests align well with physics- and engineering-design projects involving materials and measurement methods.
