Terms of Service

Effective date: August 27, 2026

These terms govern your use of aspireresearch.net and the Aspire student portal at portal.aspireresearch.net (together, the “Services”), operated by [Legal Entity Name] (“Aspire,” “we,” “us”). By using the Services you agree to these terms. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree on your behalf.

The program

Aspire provides mentored research programs for high school students. Program details, session counts, schedules, and fees are described in your enrollment agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these terms. Mentors are independent contractors, not employees of Aspire.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Do not share your account or use another person’s account.

Acceptable use

Use the Services only for participating in the program. Do not harass others, post harmful or inappropriate content, attempt to access accounts or data that aren’t yours, interfere with the Services, or use them for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

Student work and content

You own the research and work you create. You give Aspire permission to store, display, and share your work within the Services as needed to run the program and with your mentors. With your permission (and a parent’s, for minors), we may feature student outcomes in program materials. Materials Aspire provides, including curriculum, guides, and templates, belong to Aspire and are for your personal use in the program.

Communications

By providing contact information you agree that we may contact you by email about the program. Text messages are sent only if you opt in; see our Privacy Policy for details and how to opt out.

Fees and refunds

Fees, payment schedules, and refund terms are set out in your enrollment agreement.

Science fair and competition outcomes

Aspire provides mentorship and guidance. We do not guarantee any competition placement, award, publication, or admissions outcome. Compliance with competition rules, school policies, and institutional requirements is the responsibility of the student and family.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Services are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aspire disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the fees you paid to Aspire in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. Termination does not affect payment obligations or refund terms in your enrollment agreement.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law rules.
